All films are rated by the Central Board of Film Certification in India, which also conducts a censorship check. The censor board has given the movie “OMG 2” an A rating since it emphasizes sex education for Indian youngsters who are ignorant of this subject and end up acting inappropriately, for which they are then penalized.
Pankaj Tripathi, who plays the film’s protagonist, expressed unhappiness with this choice because it would prevent the audience on which they had primarily concentrated from experiencing a live theatre performance. In order to allow youngsters under the age of 18 to view it with adult supervision, he hopes the board will reconsider its decision and alter it to U/A.
