For the MPs who were protesting on Wednesday, Trinamool organized a meal of roti, daal, paneer, and chicken tandoori. As part of a 50-hour relay protest against their suspension by the Rajya Sabha chairman, the suspended MPs stayed outside for the first night inside the Parliament Complex. There are 20 MPs who have been suspended for the days of Monday and Tuesday, including seven from the TMC, six from the DMK, three from the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), two from the Communist Party of India (Marxist), and one each from the Communist Party of India (CPI) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
While protesting at several locations in the morning, Congress and other Opposition parties appeared to have joined together by the evening on the topic of price increases.
After visiting the protest location, senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh announced that his party would participate in the day-and-night dharna organized by the other Opposition parties.
Congress, DMK, TMC, CPM, and AAP MPs from both Houses are participating in a 50-hour continuous dharna in the areas around Parliament. Later that evening, he tweeted, “They are protesting their suspension for demanding an urgent debate on price increases and the GST on food goods.

The protesting MPs asked for a tent, but the officials refused them because no structures are allowed inside the grounds. They have, however, been permitted to use the restroom in the Parliamentary library’s bathroom.
Sources claim that the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and the Nationalist Congress Party, which have no suspended members, will also participate in the demonstrations.

Idli-sambar, chicken tandoori, gajar ka halwa, and fruits are among the regional dishes that the opposition parties have prepared for the MPs. Everybody is informed about the plans for the day thanks to the roster being shared in a special WhatsApp group, according to PTI.
Tiruchi Siva, a member of the DMK, organized an idli-sambhar breakfast for the lawmakers on Wednesday. The DMK also organized the curd rice meal. The TMC is providing the supper menu, which includes roti, daal, paneer, and chicken tandoori. Kanimozhi of the DMK, who had a key role in the roster’s preparation, arrived at the protest venue with “gajar ka halwa,” while TMC had planned for fruits and sandwiches.
The DMK would be in charge of breakfast on Thursday, the TRS would be in charge of lunch, and the AAP would be in charge of dinner.
The AAP was also in charge of setting up a tent for the MPs to protect them from the sweltering sun, but the authorities refused to grant them permission.
