Meadow Walker recently married actor Louis Thornton-Allan.
Families are like that. Meadow Walker was supported at her wedding by her late father’s Fast and the Furious costars Vin Diesel and Jordana Brewster.
Louis Thornton-Allan and the model, 22, tied the knot on Friday, October 22. “We’re married!!!!!! ,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a compilation video of the nuptials. As Meadow hugged Brewster, 41, she took in the bride’s gown and veil, sweetly rubbing her back; the actress hugged Meadow back.
The founder of the Paul Walker Foundation also chatted with Diesel – her godfather – and leaned her head against him.
The newlyweds sat inside a vintage car while the actor, 54, stood beside it. Diesel walked Meadow down the aisle during the ceremony in place of her late father, a source told Us Weekly.
Meadow sparked engagement rumours in August when she shared a video on Instagram showing off a diamond ring. The following day, she posted a photo with Thornton-Allan wearing what appeared to be matching wedding bands with the caption, “Best friend.”
In July, the actor publicly announced the couple’s relationship when he shared a picture of them on a couch.
Meadow remained close to her father’s costars since he passed away at age 40 in a car accident in November 2013. He shared the girl with his ex-girlfriend Rebecca Soteros, who was 15 at the time.
In the films, Paul played Brian O’Conner. His last appearance in the franchise was 2015’s Furious 7, which he was filming at his death. Brian’s best friend, Dominic Toretto, is played by Diesel, while Brewster plays Mia Toretto.
Since her father’s death, Meadow has relied on Diesel for support. She counts Vin and his kids as family and talks to them when she’s struggling, as well as having their backs,” a source exclusively told Us in June.
Despite finding a second family in Paul’s absence, the California native has maintained her relationship with him.
Meadow is so proud of her dad and goes out of her way to respond to people who send letters or express their admiration for him,” the insider noted.
“She posts tributes to him on social media, keeps in touch with the people who were important to him, and generally acts on his advice while he was still alive.”
Meadow believes her father is watching over her from heaven and protecting her.
Paul Walker
Hunky, handsome, and low-key, Paul Walker started his career in television before breaking through with films like 1998’s Pleasantville and Varsity Blues and She’s All That in 1999. The up-and-coming actor attended the 3rd Annual Movieline Young Hollywood Awards in Hollywood on April 29, 2001.
Getting things moving
In the first instalment of the blockbuster action franchise, Fast and Furious, Glendale, Calif., native Paul Walker played undercover cop Brian O’Connor. “While working on the Skulls film, the studio, producer, and the director asked, ‘What do you want to do next?’ I replied, ‘I want to be an undercover cop or race cars.’ In June 2013, he told Automobile magazine that this is how Fast and Furious was born.
Acknowledgement
He received the award for Best On-Screen Team with his costar and lifelong friend Vin Diesel during the 2002 MTV Movie Awards on June 1, 2002.
A Humble Person
In January 2005, the Hollywood hottie signed a 2005 Silverado Pickup truck for the National Ability Center. He told Glamour in October 2011, “I’m pretty rough around the edges. That’s just the generation that raised me. The neighborhood that I grew up in,” he said. “I always wondered if I should be a little more refined. But at the end of the day, I don’t care that much. I am who I am.”
Passion for racing
During the 3rd Annual Cadillac Super Bowl Grand Prix for Charity held at CSX in Jacksonville, Fla., Walker was accompanied by actress Regina King. “I’m a professional race car driver, so to me, the driving sequences are always serious,” he told Hitfix while promoting Fast & Furious 6. Maintaining that balance, I think, is crucial to the franchise.” He added: “Keeping things harmonious, and those are the things I enjoy most.”
Life as a mirror
In September 2005, Walker posed on the red carpet with Into the Blue costar Jessica Alba. A frequent question about the actor’s relationship with surfing was what kind of traits he looked for in a woman. In college, my friends called me Mr James Bond 007 since I entertained everyone: blondes, brunettes, redheads. I’m across the board,” he laughed while speaking to Allure in June 2011.
