Prime Minister landing at the capital ,DelhiÂ
After returning to the capital from the BRICS Summit on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be greeted at a Chandrayaan-themed event by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). However, only the Tricolor will be displayed during the festivities, which will also feature cultural performances by party members from all 50 states in place of BJP flags. Along the kilometre-long stretch from the Palam Technical Airport region to Dhaula Kuan, a roadshow is also anticipated.
Preparation and details of the eventÂ
In addition to its cadre and the whole senior leadership from the city, according to party insiders, the organization aimed to mobilize between 10,000 and 20,000 people to welcome the Prime Minister at the Palam airport amid cries of “Bharat Mata ki Jai,” Tricolor flags, Chandrayaan replicas, and banners. A senior BJP leader stated that the program was being organized to mark the successful Chandrayaan 3 operation this time, but welcoming the Prime Minister after a significant foreign tour had more or less become a tradition now following the warm welcome we succeeded in extending to him three months ago.
Thousands of people, including all the party MPs, MLAs and office bearers, from the city will be a part of the programme that will be held to make up for the PM’s absence during the celebrations in the country after the landing due to his prior commitment related to the BRICS Summit.
The entire area will be decked up along the theme —which is — and the entire cadre and leadership of the party based in Delhi will welcome the PM. Like last time, we are hopeful that he will speak for some time about the feat that the country has achieved in its space programme despite its humble beginning.
Attendees would be gathered from all across the capital, and they would start arriving at the Palam Technical Airport area about two hours before the PM is expected to arrive, according to a source knowledgeable of program developments.
