Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said India would become a global leader in green energy and PM Modi supports Clean energy leadership for the country . It is time for clean and green energy.
The new generation of entrepreneurs will help India during the next 20 years. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also its supporter.
Ambani said this in the program Asia Economic Dialogue-2022 of Pune International Center. The program, which started on 23 February, will continue till 25 February.Â
Ambani said India would lead the transition towards green energy and become a global leader in solar and hydrogen fuel in the next few decades.
Currently, India is the information and Technology (IT) leader. Asia has seen bad times in the last 20 years. Now its time has come, and the 21st century will belong to Asia.Â
India will leave Japan behind.Â
Ambani said that India would soon overtake Japan in terms of GDP. During a conversation with Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar, President, Pune International Centre, Ambani said that in the next 20 years, 20 to 30 Indian energy companies could be as big as Reliance.Â
Europe had overtaken India and China.Â
Ambani said that when fuel changed from wood to coal, Europe left India and China behind. Similarly, after crude oil, the countries of America and West Asia went far ahead. Now is the time for India, when this country will become self-reliant in green energy. He also mentioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said he is a big supporter of New and Clean Energy.
India will be the second-largest economy country in Asia.Â
According to Ambani, by 2030, India will become the second-largest economy in Asia and the third-largest economy globally in terms of GDP. That is, it will be at number three after China and America. He said that the center of the global economy has shifted to Asia. The GDP here will be more than the rest of the world.Â
