5G services will be launched by PM Modi in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on Saturday. He will also inaugurate the 6th edition of the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC). The IMC 2022 is going to be held from October 1 to 4 with the theme– “New Digital Universe”.

This is occurring a month after Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that 5G would be launched by October 12.

Reliance Jio was the biggest bidder with a share of 58.65% of the total value. Followed by Bharti Airtel being the second biggest bidder amongst the total 4 participants with bids valuing Rs 43,084 crore.
