PM Modi’s first visit to Ayodhya after a “bhoomi pujan” of Ram Mandir on August 5, 2020
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya to offer prayers to Lord Ram Lalla on October 23. He visited Ram Bhoomi for the first time after the last “bhoomi pujan” of Ram Mandir on August 5, 2020.
PM Modi was received by Governor Anandiben Patel and CM Yogi Adityanath
Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed PM Modi. After reaching Ayodhya and attending Deepotsav celebrations, PM Modi went immediately to the Ram Mandir site. He lit an earthen lamp there and performed an “aarti”.
Further, PM Modi was also briefed by the officials about the Ram Mandir construction.
On October 23, Prime Minister Modi said that the inspiration for “sabka saath, sabka vikas” are the values inculcated by Lord Ram through his words, thoughts, and rule.
These values are the basis of “sabka vishwas, sabka prayas”, he said.
During the event, the symbolic coronation of Lord Ram and Sita was performed.
Addressing a gathering at the Ram Katha park, PM Modi said he got the opportunity of having the deity’s “darshan” due to his blessings.
He said, “I am happy that the people of Ayodhya, the entire of India, and the world are witnessing this great event. With the same determination as Lord Ram, we will take the country to new heights.”
Lord Ram’s ideals give the “courage to achieve the most difficult goals” in life. In the coming next 25 years, through these values we will develop India, he added.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, PM Modi will attend a 3-D holographic projection mapping show at Ram ki Paidi on the banks of the Saryu, along with a grand musical laser show.
A statement said, around 6.30 p.m., Prime Minister Modi will attend an “aarti” on the banks of the Saryu, and later on the Deepotsav celebrations will be launched.
“More than 15 lakh earthen lamps will be lit at Ram ki Paidi near the Saryu bank as part of the Deepotsav celebrations by more than 22,000 volunteers,” Ayodhya Divisional Commissioner Navdeep Rinwa said.
During the Deepotsav, five animated tableaux and 11 Ramlila tableaux showcasing dance forms from different states will also be presented.
