The Psycho-Pass anime is celebrating a 10th anniversary in October with announcing a film, and production on the franchise‘s latest project, the GekijÅ-Ban Psycho-Pass Providence movie, had been a great news between fans.
Naoyoshi Shiotani is to directing at Production I.G, and TOHO will be distributing the movie rights around the world.

The original title is adopted heavily from the cyberpunk popularized decades ago with Blade Runner being a clear muse.
It is Set in a futuristic world of Japan; society is monitor by a computer network which is calculates every citizen’s criminal potential.
When someone’s potential for evil hits a certain level, authorities are sent out to handle the case, and Psycho-Pass follows the lives of several officers working under the Ministry of Welfare’s Public Safety Bureau.

Akane Tsunemori:
Tsunemori (åøøå® ę±, Tsunemori Akane) is the 20-year-old main heroine – point-of-view character and the newly assigned Inspector of Unit One.
She had passed the exams with the highest score for several public sectors and private corporations.
She had decided to join the police because it is the only place where no one obtained a score as high as hers, thus she believes she is able to do something there that no one else can.
Though initially she was not very confident with her work, Kogami’s joy of having somebody who would stop him from killing innocent people motivates her to work and get along with the Enforcers.
Her calm nature, acceptance of society and will to fight to against conflicts prevent her from becoming a criminal despite having experiences in her field.
The members from the Sibyl System are impressed by her work which results in her learning of their true nature as they want to use her to capture Makishima alive with Akane agreeing only if they stop their orders of killing the defecting Kogami.
Shinya Kogami:
Shinya Kogami is known to be Tactical Advisor in Suppressing Action Department of the Foreign Affairs Operations Department.
He is the main lead in first season of the anime Psycho Pass and he returns in season 3 of the anime as a supporting character.
Shusei Kagari:
He is the Enforcer within Division 01 of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Public Safety Bureau.
one of the comic character in the anime. He is easygoing guy yet still maintains the air of recklessness.
Kagari also make himself clear being Enforcer and have no interest in the safety of society.
