The release of Jailer, featuring Rajinikanth and Tamannaah Bhatia, in over 3500 theatres today, has sparked a worldwide fan frenzy. The Jailer has been considered by the fans “the best mass film” Sivaji since and also said Rajinikanth has made a mass comeback with his film “Jailer”. The movie is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and the film’s First Day First Show (FDFS) went houseful across locations.
By selling tickets worth Rs 13 crore, Jailer triumphed over Sunny Deols’s Gadar 2 and Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 in terms of advance reservations. Early responses have mostly been favorable. Jailer tickets on BookMyShow have reportedly sold more than 9, 00,000 with Bengaluru and Tamil Nadu leading the way.
Jailer, starring Rajinikanth, received a 4/5 rating from South film reviewer Ramesh Bala. Rajinikanth, who plays Tiger Muthuvel Pandian in the film, is described as Charismatic valiant, and indomitable” by the author. Nelson makes a huge comeback with a compelling plot and outstanding direction.

About the Film “Jailer”
The movie revolves around Tiger Muthuvel (Rajinikanth) who gets released after serving time in prison and now enjoys retirement with his wife, Ramya Krishnan, son Arjun( Vasanth Ravi), grandchild and daughter-in-law, Mirnaa Menon. He helps his grandson manage a youtube channel in his spare time.
Arjun, Muthuvel’s son, is a trustworthy policeman. He vanishes while investigating a high-profile case, and Muthuvel later learns a notorious gang murdered him. But there is more to it than what it appears. Muthuvel makes the decision to investigate the situation on his own in order to learn the truth.
Mohanlal, Shiva Kumar, and Jackie Shroff, who are well-known in Malayalam, Kannada, and Bollywood, all make noteworthy cameo appearances but primarily serve to lend star power. The same is true with Yogi Babu and Sunil, who are featured in the movie solely to provide some lighthearted humor. Vinayakan, who plays the movie’s major antagonist, is frightening and does a good job in his role.
The music from the Jailer movie is composed by Anirudh Ravichandran, ‘Kavaalaa’ and ‘Hukum’ are considered to be chartbusters, and the fans have loved the songs. Bengaluru & Chennai offices get holiday for Rajinikanth’s Movie
Two days before the release of the film, certain offices from Chennai and Bengaluru declared a holiday on the day of its release i.e. today. According to The Economic Times, some offices from these two places have distributed free tickets to their employees.
In the midst of all of this, a workplace holiday notice announcing a holiday today “on account of the release of superstar Rajinikanth’s movie Jailer” has become widely shared on social media. The Notification stated “We have decided to proclaim a holiday on August 10, 2024, in order to avoid the piled-up vacation that the HR department had asked, in light of the release of Superstar Rajini’s film Jailer. We also feel free to go above and beyond by providing our staff members with complimentary cinema tickets to aid in the fight against piracy.

Rajinikanth daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth watched her father’s movie on FDFS with fans at Rohini Silver Screens. Dhanush also watched the FDFS at Rohini Silver Screen as it surfaced on social media.
Famous music composer from the south, who also composed music in Jailer Anirudh Ravichander performs the ‘Hukum’ Song in the theatre in front of the fans while watching the FDFS. Anirudh Ravichander receives a rave response for his music in the movie.
