Review
This film seems dated. We feel it would have been relevant some years back. This kind of thinking has become rare in the present scenario. One can expect that Anand L. Rai has something stored for the theatres as he always manages to bring something new, fresh and unique on screens. Likewise his last release Atrangi Re starring Dhanush, Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar received mixed reviews. Still, it won praises for its unique storyline. After two films that could not impress audiences, Akshay Kumar is back with a new film that are based on social issues much like his previous successful films.
The film seems to be a mix of family drama, emotions, laughter, love and a typical Indian household setting. Consequently, it celebrates the bond of brothers and sisters and what better title than Raksha Bandhan could have been chosen for it. The songs and background score seem fresh, soothing and interesting.
