Kaz, is a respected doctor by profession. He was born and brought up in Britain, but his roots are in Pakistan. Kaz is a good-looking man who can manage to date any woman of his choice, yet he chooses to marry a girl of his parent’s choice. Lily James is the female lead character of the movie, starring opposite Shazad Latif. Lily is seen as a girl named Zoe who hails from London. Zoe seems to try her luck hard to find a perfect match but fails relentlessly. She is a documentary filmmaker who relies on dating apps to find a suitable partner but ends up failing in her attempts. Having catastrophic luck in dating, Zoe, like Kaz, decides to let her parents fix her marriage.
