What is the Riyadh season?
Riyadh Season is a state-sponsored annual entertainment and sports festival that takes place from October to March each year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The general entertainment authority’s head, Turki Al-Sheikh, claims that this year’s Riyadh Season includes more than 8,500 activity days and experiences spread across 15 unique zones, each of which has a unique entertainment character.
Along with the internationally renowned Cirque du Soleil, this also boasts the biggest man-made lake in the world, cable car transportation, and cloud-embracing couches.
It includes 240 shops, 252 eateries and cafés, eight foreign productions, more than 150 concerts, 108 interactive activities, seven international exhibitions, two international football games, 17 Saudi and Arab plays, WWE events, and more.
In addition, the Riyadh Season Cup featured players from the Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr football teams alongside the Paris Saint-Germain team.
To top it all off, the celebration includes 65 days of fireworks, several Saudi and Arab plays, concerts, local and worldwide exhibitions of anime, perfumes, and games, as well as a wide range of additional activities for individuals, couples, and kids.
