England has become the world champion now playing cricket in its style, This country has won another World Cup trophy. What Rohit learn from England.
England became the champion of the World Cup of ODIs as well as the champion of the T20 World Cup.
England’s victory has many heroes and there can be many merits in this victory, If we talk about players, it can be Ben Stokes or Sam Curran and if we say about merits it can be bang batting or it can be excellent bowling.
It is happening for the first time that a team has both ODI and T20 World Cup titles together.
This time England has won the World Cup, and they have shown how to play the shorter formats like the T20.
England achieved this position by defeating two big teams, Pakistan whose bowling line-up was good, and also India whose batting line-up was good. Let’s see what is there in England’s team from which India should learn.
Five qualities of England, Rohit Should Learn
1- Great openers
England had two explosive openers. Alex Hales and Butler both bat so aggressively that gain 60 to 70 runs in the initial overs.
They both scored 70 runs in 6 overs while chasing 169 against India. Although Alex Hales did not play against Pakistan, Buttler did score 26 runs in 17 balls.
India’s opening was not aggressive in the whole world cup- India scored only 38 runs in the entire power play against England.
If we look at the powerplay figures in the entire World Cup, then the strike rate of India’s team was at the last number in the first six overs, you can either call it an embarrassing aspect or a conservative approach.
Lokesh Rahul has a strike rate of 95 in the World Cup and Rohit Sharma scored runs at a strike rate of 90.
2- England has seven bowling options
With England having 7 bowlers, the task became much more manageable for Butler, if ever the main bowlers looted the runs, the part-timers would have compensated them and compensated like Livingstone by giving 20 runs in 3 overs in the match against India.
India had part-time options, but a poor combination – Arshdeep, Bhuvneshwar, Shami Ashwin, Akshar Patel, and Pandya. India had a total of six bowling options.
Ashwin and Akshar Patel yearned for wickets in the name of spinners throughout the tournament and whenever our bowling was bad, Rohit Sharma did not understand whom to give the bowl and Chahal did not fit into Rohit’s thinking While wrist spinners dominated the entire World Cup.
3- England has such batsmen who can also bowl
The first two batsmen of England’s batting lineup who could bowl were Livingstone and Moeen Ali. Ben Stokes, Curran and Woakes were all-rounders. Rashid Woakes and Jordan can swing the bat when needed.
Pandey was the only all-rounder – Team India was not like that. In the whole World Cup, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Suryakumar Yadav only batted. It’s not that Rohit Sharma cant bowl he has two hat tricks in IPL.
4- Deep batting lineup
From Butler to Rashid everybody can swing the bat. Eng has their batting up to 10th and 11. Rashid has ten first-class class centuries as well.
India’s tail is always weak with their bat – India has put Ashwin in their lineup for batting depth. As when the wickets fall earlier there was no one in the lower order As like England to cope with the bat.
5- Fearless intent
What happens after Worldcup whole world knows? A fearless mindset has been always the key of the English team for the last 7 years, whether they won fifty over Worldcup or this one.
This intent has been not executed in a single day, Somewhere Credit goes to former Captain Eoin Morgan. Morgan never got respect in England, recently an English newspaper called Morgan a liar, and a scoundrel and gave them anti-national status.

According to the English newspapers, these are the three qualities Morgan have. But Morgan used these lies to infuse energy and influence in the players of his team so that he could adopt his open-playing style once he was criticized because England was all-out in 45 over.
Whereas we didn’t show fighting spirit – Moen Ali and Livingston have more strike rates than Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul, We were nowhere in terms of batting or bowling both.
