Russian military strike in Pavlohrad
Pavlohrad is a logistics hub near the city of Dnipro in the Ukrainian-held region. The strike was followed by an air raid alert throughout the country. The raid alert in Kyiv ran about for three hours. The Ukrainian army reported that it had been able to counter 15 out of 18 cruise missiles that had been fired at the country. This attack on Pavlohrad forms a part of a series of missiles in the second pre-dawn attack within three days, which was launched by Russia at Ukraine.
Hours after the Pavlohrad attack, an unknown explosive device went off in the western region of Bryansk, causing a freight train to derail. Bryansk is a region about 37 miles north of Russia’s border with Ukraine. The governor Alexander Bogomaz informed through social media posts, that there were no casualties. The freight was carrying fuel and building materials. Pictures show several tank carriages and the sky covered in dark grey smoke. It is not clear who is responsible for the attack. Ukraine continues to maintain anonymity over recent attacks on Russia. This includes several air attacks over the latter, despite the fact that President Zelensky had requested his allies to help Ukraine with armored, aerial devices.
Response to Bryansk attack
In earlier similar cases, the Russian authorities have arrested a minimum of 66 Russians who are found suspicious in the cases of rail sabotage. The governor of the Leningrad region in Russia informs the public that a power line had been blown up the previous night, while another explosive device was found near a second line.

Uman Attack
Previously, 23 people were killed in the central city of Uman by Russian strikes. This was followed by an attack on Sevastopol. While the latter attack was not claimed by the Ukrainian counterparts, Russian authorities have blamed Ukraine for the attack. Despite this, the Ukrainian authorities have publicly mentioned the damage that the attack has been able to cause. Calling it the ‘God’s punishment’, Andriy Yusov, a Ukrainian intelligence official stated that the attack managed to destroy about 10 tanks of oil products which had a capacity of 40,000 tonnes. The same was required for the black sea fleet.
Sevastopol
In the Sevastopol attack, Razvozhayev informed the media that the Russian military has managed to destroy a Ukrainian surface sea drone which had attempted to attack Sevastopol harbour. It had also dropped down another drone, preventing the damage it could have inflicted on the people.
