Ukraine military installations destroyed

Ceasefire not respected by Russian forces
The Russian Defense Ministry in a statement said that it had agreed on evacuation routes with Ukrainian forces to allow civilians to leave the strategic port of Mariupol in the southeast and the eastern town of Volnovakha “from 10 a.m. Moscow time” (8 am GMT.)
The statement did not clear how long the routes would remain open. According to Reuters, the Ukrainian authorities in the city of Mariupol said that the evacuation had to be postponed as Russian forces encircling the city did not respect the agreed ceasefire.
Global media suspends reporting
From BBC to CNN, the global media has suspended reporting in Russia after new law on ‘fake news’. The new law on fake news in Russia, will punish “fake news” with up to 15 years in prison.
The rule will impose fines or jail terms for spreading false information about the military, as well as fines for people who publicly call for sanctions against Russia. Harshest sentences for fake news will be mete by courts and the people will face “serious consequences.”
NATO rejects no-fly zone appeal
Volodymyr Zelenskyy had earlier appealed to NATO to set up a no-fly zone over Ukraine. NATO on Friday rejected the Ukrainian call to help. The no-fly zone would have helped protect Ukraine from the Russin missiles and warplanes.
Europe has promised to put more sanction to punish Russia. Volodymyr Zelenskyy has strongly criticized the decision saying that NATO has given a green light to Russia by rejecting the appeal.
Samsung Electronics suspends shipments to Russia
According to the Kyiv Independent, Samsung Electronics has suspended shipments to Russia due to the current geopolitical developments. It will now also donating $6 million, including $1 million in consumer electronics, to actively support humanitarian efforts “around the region”.
Brazilian government issues temporary humanitarian visas
Brazilian government has agreed to issue temporary humanitarian visas and residency permits for the Ukrainian nationals and other individuals who have been affected by the war.
Russian forces seize control of nuclear power plant
Russian forces have seized control of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant which is Europe’s biggest nuclear power plant. The fire that broke out at the complex in the southeastern city of Enerhodar in the early hours of Friday has now been extinguished.
