Fans and celebrities wish the nation’s cricket god a happy 49th birthday on social media.
Sachin Tendulkar, a former Indian international cricket player born in 1973 on April 24th, turns 49 years old today. He has secured many awards and records during his period of time in cricket.
He is considered one of the best batsmen in the history of cricket.

The highest civilian award, the Bharat Ratna, was awarded to Sachin Tendulkar for his huge contribution to Indian cricket. He is the youngest awardee to receive the Bharat Ratna till now.
He received the award in 2014, when he was 40 years old. He is an awardee of another two of the highest Indian awards. In the year 2008, he was awarded the second highest civilian award, the Padma Vibhushan. Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award, was given to him in 1999.
In 1997, he was one of five cricketers named Wisden Cricketer of the Year. He won the highest sporting award in India, the Khel Ratna Award, in the year 1997. He has set a high goal for the upcoming Indian cricketers by obtaining plenty of awards and records in his name.

The former Indian spinner, Amit Mishra wished Sachin, for his birthday,
“Happy Birthday to the god of cricket @sachin_rt paaji. Still remember the way you motivated me during our 144 run against England in Oval.
My highest test score was all due to your constant encouragement and a push to do better” through his twitter account.
The captain of Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli shared his wishes for Sachin by adding an Instagram story,
“Happy Birthday to one of the greatest. Have a good one Sachin paji”
Hardik Pandya tweeted,
“Happy Birthday Master❤️Lots of love and gratitude for all your advice”
Additionally, Sachin posted a picture of him on Instagram reading his father’s book and captioned it, “Sahitya, written by my father, Shri Ramesh Tendulkar.
” Miss you, Baba!”
