The central government has several scholarship schemes. In such a scheme students are given scholarships up to 50 thousand rupees. Thousands of people will be awarded this scholarship. This scholarship is offered by Central Govt to especially disabled candidates who want to pursue technical education. The central government feels that the specially-abled should also get equal opportunities. That’s why this scholarship.

All India Council for Technical Education Scholarship is provided by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. This scholarship is available to those who are pursuing a degree or diploma course. These scholarships are awarded to further their higher-level education.
It has been informed by the central government that 50 thousand will be given to the students every year. Out of this, 30 thousand rupees will be given as tuition fee. Or for educational expenses such as books or electronics that students can purchase. Also, an additional Rs.20,000 will be given to the visually impaired or hearing impaired. So that they can buy the necessary equipment. However, whether the students are eligible for this scholarship or not will be selected through an interview.
Application procedure and documents required- For application, go to (National Scholarship Portal) and submit the form. Documents required are Madhyamik or equivalent certificate, Higher Secondary Certificate, ITI Certificate or Diploma Certificate, Disability Certificate, Aadhaar Card, Family Annual Income Certificate, and Bank Passbook Front Page Photo. Annual renewal is required to avail of the benefit of this scholarship.
Eligibility to Apply for Able Scholarship –
1. Visit the official website scholarship.gov.in.
2. Then click on New Registration. A new page will open there.
3. Go through all the instructions carefully and after checking the box to agree to the terms and conditions go and click on Options 4. After that enter your mobile number to get a one-time password or OTP.
The student should not be the recipient of any financial award in the form of other government programs during the course. It aims to encourage students to pursue technical education.
This will be for a maximum of three years for students admitted in the first year and for diploma students for a maximum of two years for students admitted in the second year through lateral entry.
Family income from all sources should not exceed Rs 8 lakh per annum in the current financial year. Candidates applying must also provide a valid income certificate issued by the State/UT Government. Interested and eligible candidates have to fill out the online application form
