Karan Johar, the director and producer, shocked the internet on Wednesday by stating that “Koffee With Karan” would not be returning, only to subsequently learn that the new season of his chat show “would not be returning on TV,” but rather on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar.
According to reports by Pinkvilla the discussion show’s future season would feature several well-known actors from the south film industry. The forthcoming chat show would have Telugu actors Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna addressing some fascinating questions posed by Johar, according to Pinkvilla.
According to the report, the show’s producers have already reached out to Allu Arjun and Mandanna for the talk show, and they are “very pleased about it.” Both actors collaborated in the latest Telugu hit Pushpa.
Allu Arjun’s popularity grew as a result of the pan-India film, and Mandanna has already begun filming her Bollywood debut with Sidharth Malhotra
Mission Majnu will feature the 26-year-old actress. Mandanna will also star alongside Amitabh Bachchan in Goodbye and Ranbir Kapoor in a film currently in development.
According to the entertainment website, the forthcoming season of Koffee with Karan would have episodes with some major Tollywood stars. This simply goes to illustrate how the south is becoming one of the most important markets for film, with some of the highest box office receipts.
“The creators have kept it nicely balanced to appeal South viewers,” Pinkvilla said, citing a source close to the show’s creation. The guest list for this season will astound viewers.”
Karan announced on Instagram that Koffee With Karan will be available exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar. According to the announcement, the movie star will return to the sofa to reveal certain truths and put an end to speculations.
