Back to Back Drone Attacks on Moscow

According to Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Russian air defences have shot down “several” drones that were aiming towards the Moscow region, one of which hit a tower that had been struck on Sunday.
According to the Russian defence ministry, two drones were shot down by air defence systems in the Moscow suburbs of Odintsovo and Narofominsk, and another had been disabled and it crashed inside the city, according to Tuesday morning reports from the Russian state news agency Tass.
Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the Ukrainian president, told Reuters that Kyiv did not target and would not attack any civilian objects in the Black Sea, labelling Russian accusations as “fictitious.” Such claims made by Russian officials are unquestionably false and devoid of any veracity. According to Podolyak, Ukraine has not attacked, is not currently attacking, and will not attack any civilian targets.
The second drone attacked the same building that had been damaged in a previous attack early on Sunday, according to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. A number of government organisations are housed in IQ-Quarter, which is 7.2 kilometres (4.5 miles) from the Kremlin. These organisations include the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade. According to Sobyanin, there were no injuries in the incident on Tuesday.
Russian Invasion In Ukraine
More than a year has passed since Russia invaded Ukraine and started a war. Why the same structure was struck twice in a row remained unclear. The drones that struck the skyscraper on both occasions, according to the Russian military, were jammed before crashing.
The Sergey Kotov and the Vasily Bykov, a pair of Russia’s ships in the Black Sea fleet, were attacked by an unmanned boat drone, according to the Russian Ministry of Defence, which claims it was effectively repulsed. According to an announcement from the ministry, three Ukrainian drone boats were sunk during the unsuccessful attack, which took place 340 kilometres southwest of Sevastopol.
During their counteroffensive attacks over the past week, Ukrainian forces have reclaimed roughly 15 sq km (5.8 sq miles) of territory from Russian forces in the east and south, a senior defence official said on Monday. Since beginning a significant pushback against Russian forces at the beginning of last month, Kyiv’s forces have now retaken 204.7 sq km in the south, according to deputy defence minister Hanna Maliar on Telegram.
