Seventeen announced their upcoming repackaged album, ‘Sector 17’ right after their concert on 26th June 2022.
SEVENTEEN, a popular South Korean group, has announced the release of a repackaged album in July. ‘Sector 17’ will be a repackaged version of ‘Face the Sun, the band’s fourth studio album, which was released on May 27.
SEVENTEEN started off their Be The Sun world tour with a two-night performance in Seoul, South Korea. At the end of Day 2, the band announced that their repackaged album SECTOR 17 would be released on July 18, 2022.
‘Face The Sun,’ was released in May and sold over 2 million copies in its first week, making it the second album in Korea to do so. The album debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and remained in the top 25 the following week.
According to the promotion schedule, the track list will be released on 4th July, then an event on 6th and 7th July, and official photos on 9th and 10th July. A highlight medley of the songs will be released on 14th July, and official teasers on 15th and 16th July. On 18th July, the official music video and the album will be released.
So far, HYBE has released two teasers for Come Into Our World: SECTOR 17. In the first video, the entire group was featured. In the second video, Jeonghan led the feature. ‘Face The Sun’, including their first English song, Darl+ing, which they pre-released in advance.
From August, the band will resume its international tour, visiting 20 cities in North America and Asia. Seattle, Oakland, Los Angeles, Houston, Fort Worth, Chicago, Washington DC, Atlanta, Belmont Park, Toronto, Newark, Jakarta, Bangkok, Singapore, Japan, and, the Philippines are among the few cities they will be visiting.
Seventeen Be The Sun World Tour
This was SEVENTEEN’s first live performance in two years and four months. It was a two-day concert of 4 hours at Seoul Gocheok Sky Dome with over 35000 fans in attendance at the venue and global fans watching via Livestream. They started the concert with their recent release ‘HOT’ and ended with ‘Snap Shoot’ and ‘Very Nice.’
