Shafali Verma and Deepti Sharma are not the only players to have gained in the latest ICC Women’s ODI Rankings.
In the most recent version of the ICC Women’s ODI Rankings for players like Shafali Verma, she has moved up 12 spots, giving her the 36th rank overall. As a result of her stellar performance in the first two one-day international matches of the series against Sri Lanka Women, the standout player for the Indian women’s side is now in excellent form.
In the first game, Verma scored 35 runs, and then in the second game, he scored 71 runs and won the match for his team. Fans should take notice that the 18-year-old had a remarkable strike rate of 95.49 when batting in the first two One-Day Internationals (ODIs).
In the meantime, her colleague Deepti Sharma has moved up the ICC Women’s One-Day International Rankings for bowlers, moving from 19th to 16th place.
Sharma got the match started off with a spectacular performance, scoring 3/25. In the second match, she had a 10-over session in which she got two wickets and allowed 30 runs while bowling.
As a result of her 25-run knock in the first one-day international match, Sharma has moved up two places in the ICC Women’s ODI Rankings for batters. She is currently ranked at position number 29 on the charts that track batting averages.
Shafali Verma’s partner, Renuka Singh, has made significant headway in the bowling rankings, while Shafali Verma has improved her standing in the batting rankings.
So far, in only two matches, Singh has been responsible for seven of Sri Lanka’s dismissals. As a result of her outstanding play, she has moved up the bowlers’ ranks to 65th place, moving up from the 103rd position before.
With 75 runs in the first two one-day internationals (ODIs), Nilakshi de Silva has moved up the ranks for batters to 57th position, moving up from 70th place, where she was previously ranked.

On Thursday, July 7, the fifth and final One-Day International (ODI) in the series between India Women and Sri Lanka Women will take place. It begins at ten in the morning (IST).
