The majority of us long for a feeling of meaning or purpose in life, or perhaps we simply want to set an example of altruism for our kids. But even when we begin with a sense of obligation, the initial sensation of sacrifice frequently transforms into joy and fulfillment.

Do you want to change the world?
A young child of ten years old, Gauravi was astounded to see her older sister collecting kitchen scraps for a few days. She was even more thrilled to learn that such biodegradable wastes would be transformed into something much more beneficial, namely plant manure. On the day she discovered her vision, she understood she would set out on a mission to improve society, the nation, and ultimately the entire world.
Who is Gauravi Kaushik ?
So, This is the tale of Gauravi Kaushik, a 16-year-old senior in high school. She co-founded the non-profit organization R-4 Our Fore Vision, and she has run numerous social justice projects. She and the volunteers working for her promoted sustainability using the NGO’s Four Rs, which stand for REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE, and RESTORE.
By collecting rubbish at city marathons, the theatre festival Jairangam, and numerous other events, they raised awareness of the value of waste segregation. They also planted trees.
Since 2016, Every year during Diwali, they have also collected used festive clothing and footwear, washed them, and then distributed them to those in need. They have called this initiative MERI BHEE DIWALI, and their goal is to make every child happy during the celebration of Diwali.
Pack of Confidence
Because of her compassionate nature and commitment to sustainable living, Gauravi launched a campaign in which she not only gave away free sanitary pads to women and girls in need but also made a point of educating people about these reusable cotton pads that can address the issues of affordability and sustainability. Economically reusable menstruation is what the “Pack of confidence” turned out to be. She purchased these reusable napkins from Project Qadira with the roughly $20,000 she raised through crowdfunding for this cause.
It’s an amazing experience to make people aware of the benefits of sustainable living & create a better, clean & healthy world. It’s encouraging to know that most people are interested in making our only home-Mother Earth a better place to live. The “Get Organized” program, which Gauravi organized, addressed the facts and myths around organ, tissue, and transplantation donation and transplantation.
This event was held at Mangalam Plus Medical Center, Mansarovar in the city, and was attended by numerous organ donors, organ recipients, social activists, and socialites from Jaipur.
What does she aim for in the future ?
In college, Gauravi plans to study molecular and cellular biology and human anatomy. She stays current on medical news, and one of the things that most concerns her is the scarcity of organ donors worldwide since it reminds her of the time when she had her appendix removed when she was 12 years old.
“During appendix surgery 4 years ago, I realized the importance of each organ in the body. There has been no change in my life, but if any important part of the body does not work or is removed, then how many problems do they have to face? Realizing this, I started trying to make organ donation and information related to it accessible to the people“- said Gauravi
The road to Organ Donation
The thought that something else other than her appendix may have been removed during this surgery struck her hard, and she began to consider the agony of those whose important organs are failing. As she continued to learn more about organ donation, she reasoned that it would be beneficial to alert people about the potential for organ “reuse”. She made the decision to raise awareness of the selfless act of organ donation. She just conducted a talk show with an NGO called MFJCF that is actively working for this cause well about opportunities and mechanics of ORGAN DONATION.
Gauravi’s small actions are increasing awareness of these sustainable lifestyles among those who are close to her. She lives by the adage that “when we dream alone it is merely a dream, but when many people dream together it is the beginning of a new reality.” She believes this to be truthful.
Even while our efforts to assist others have a generally mixed track record of success, they have a nearly perfect track record of assisting us. Now that you know how, go forth and alter the world!
