A Sikh youth engages in a deadly fight with a man named Ganga Mahto, which results in the death of the victim.
A Sikh youth named Gurpreet attacked two people in Delhi’s Kamla Nagar market, Ganga Mahto, and Siya Ram. The former was pronounced dead. The latter is seriously injured as a result of this attack and is receiving treatment.
According to the police, the accused individual, Gurpreet Singh, is a finance professional by trade and was arrested. Gurpreet Singh (41) resides in the town of Nangloi. When Gurpreet Singh arrived at the Kamala Nagar market area on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, in the evening, he was expecting to meet a man named Siya Ram, who was 43 years old and lived in Wazirabad. He owns and operates a kiosk for vehicle spare parts on Minto Road. He had arrived at the market to collect payment of interest on a debt that Siya Ram had taken out more than two years previously.
Gurpreet Singh became physically aggressive as a result of his rage. Unfortunately, everything went awry, and a fight ensued as a result. According to the police, a Kirpan (dagger) was used by the accused during the altercation with the victim, Siya Ram. It was during this argument that Ganga Mahto, an auto driver by profession and Siyaram’s companion and close friend, arrived to assist his injured friend as well as intervene and resolve the situation in peace. Gurpreet Singh also assaulted him with a kirpan, which he managed to survive. He stabbed him in the neck with a knife.
Ganga Mahto was seriously injured during this altercation and died as a result of his injuries. The culprit was apprehended by members of the public who were present on the scene and witnessed the incident. He was then subjected to a public thrashing, which resulted in his being admitted to the hospital.
As of right now, Siya Ram is undergoing medical treatment, and Gurpreet Singh is receiving therapy for his injuries as well. Gurpreet Singh has been charged with murder, and a case has been filed against him. The police are awaiting the recovery of the accused to investigate the incident.
