Bollywood actor Sonu Sood ‘s charity foundation shared a clip on its Twitter profile with the caption “Every life counts.”
In the clip, the actor and his team can be seen rescuing a nineteen-year-old boy who met with an accident. The accident occurred in Punjab’s Moga district, where the actor passed for a reality-show-related work.
Two cars collided at the Kotkapura bypass, and due to the accident, the boy inside the car went unconscious. In the clip shared by the foundation, the actor stepped out and rescued the boy.
After the boy was rescued, he was lying on the stretcher with bloodstains on his torso. The vehicle in which the boy was lying had a central lock system, which made the rescue operation more challenging.
Later a woman informs the actor that the boy is fine and there is nothing much to worry about. The boy received timely medical treatment and is in better condition.
The actor gets an overwhelming response from his fans; many people praise his worthy actions. While one user tweeted,
As always Sonu Sood sir is the Messiah (life savior) in such difficult times), another user termed him as a GOD figure to many who are in need. He is one of the very few actors with whom people share their problems.
Sonu Sood The ‘Hero of The Pandemic’:
The actor and his team have saved many people during the initial lockdown times;
- He helped poor migrant workers who couldn’t afford mobility reach their homes; during the second wave of the lockdown,
- He helped people by arranging life support, oxygen cylinders, and hospital beds. Last year, he had promised to establish 18 oxygen plants in the country.
- Lockdown led to job losses of thousands of people, which resulted in extreme poverty, people didn’t have any aid to feed their hunger;
- He provided food to 45,000 people in Mumbai every day under the initiative of Shakti Annadanam, which was started in the name of his late father, Shakti Sagar Sood.
Since then, the actor has been termed as ‘Hero of The Pandemic’; his book, I Am No Messiah, talks about the awakening journey of rescuing people during the crisis and how it changed him as a human being.
He was appointed as a Punjab State’s face icon, which he voluntarily left recently. Private airline SpiceJet honored him by dedicating an aircraft livery for a Boeing 737, making him the first Indian actor to make it to the uniform of a domestic airline.
The upcoming film ‘Fateh’ is an action drama releasing this year. The actor would be seen in the Yash Raj banner Prithviraj, Akshay Kumar, and Manushi Chhillar.
Meanwhile, he would also be seen in a Telugu film titled Acharya and Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi, and Kajal Aggarwal.
