About “The Archies” and its cast
Soaked in nostalgia, the adaption of the comic- Archies, this OTT movie has launched its first poster of the film’s cast. Daughters of superstar Shahrukh Khan and late Bollywood actor Sridevi, Suhana Khan, and Khushi Kapoor are cast as Veronica and Betty. The Big B of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda is cast as Archie.
A musical set in the 60s, the teaser of “The Archies” was shared on Twitter, Netflix wrote, “The sun is out, the news is out! Come meet your new friends. Presenting to you the cast of the Archies, directed by the fantastic Zoya Akhtar”.
The other starred actors are Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda and Vedang Raina from “Super 30”.
For the project, as produced by Zoya Akhtar and her collaborator Reema Kagti, Netflix has partnered with Archie Comics. It will be released in 2024 on Netflix.

Suhana Khan set to start the new project
Shahrukh khan’s and Gauri Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan has set forward her career debut through the Netflix film. Gauri khan also congratulated her daughter on her first project. Before Suhana did all the accents and impressions, as conveyed by her in an interview with vogue in 2018.
“But my parents only realized, I was serious about acting when they saw a performance of mine for the first time. I was playing Miranda in a school performance of The Tempest”, she said.
Suhana Khan must have impeccable genes of her love for acting inherited from her father.

The comic Archie has been immensely popular with the protagonist as Archie Andrews and his squad including Veronica, Betty, Jughead and Reggie, the immortalized characters of the adaptions. All are excited to see the Indian adaptation of the series.
