The three-and-a-half-minute long trailer begins with an Ominous voice that says, “You’ve broken everything. Your suffering is almost at an end.” In the following scene we see Maxine (Played by Sadie Sink) sitting close to her brother Billy’s (Played by Dacre Montgomery) grave and she is letting him know how things have changed for the worse after his demise. The atmosphere of
the trailer is set to 1983 journey song, Separate ways. The setting of the show looks even darker and horrifying than previous seasons.
A man is seen seeking help from Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) as he tells her, “A war is coming. Your friends in Hawkins are very much in the eye of a storm. I don’t know how to say this other than just to say it — without you, we can’t win this war,” but apparently Eleven has lost her abilities. Chief Hopper (David Harbour), who supposedly died in the last season (and left the fans heartbroken with the loss of their favorite character), has somehow ended up in Russia and is fighting a type of Demogorgon. For this season, the gang will be up against a human-Demogorgon hybrid creature.
In this season, the gang is staying separately for the first time. Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) moved out of the town of Hawkins and took Will (Noah Schnapp), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) and Eleven along with her. Rest stayed back. The gang faces another challenge to cope with: High School.
Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb Mclaughlin, Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, Maya Hawke also returns for this Season. Jamie Campbell Bower, Joseph Quinn, and Eduardo Franco join the cast this season.
According to the reports, this season will be of the same lengths as the previous seasons, which is about 9 episodes long. The episodes will be over an hour long. The first four episodes will be released as Volume I and the next set of episodes as Volume II.
The official synopsis of Stranger Things season 4 reads – “It’s been six months since the Battle of Star court, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.”
“We kind of jokingly call it our Game of Thrones season because it’s so spread out, so I think that’s what’s unique or most unique about the season,” Matt Duffer (Duffer Brothers) said recently in an interview.
The Count-Down Clock
