The Men in Blue i.e. Indian team have always performed exceptionally well. Whether it’s an ODI, Test match series, or T20, it’s worth watching the game. And once again the squad is all set to lift the ICC T20I World Cup Trophy this year. ‘
This year ICC T20 World Cup 2022 is expected to kickstart in October 2022. Sixteen teams will be participating and it is being hosted by Australia.
Before moving ahead let’s explore the list of Indian players who will be playing in this championship.
Indian Squad for ICC T20 World Cup
BCCI has taken a good decision and created a balanced squad having the best of both worlds. There are top-rated and best-performing players therefore we don’t have any reason why India can’t win the T20 World Cup 2022 Championship Trophy this year. India’s track record in Australia
Most Cricket lovers know that Indian players have an impressive track record on Australian pitches, especially in T20s. We managed to win over Australia in the 2020-21 and 2015-16 series. Moreover, our players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are well-versed with the weather conditions, and cricket pitch and know how to take advantage of the same.
Strong batting lineup
India has one of the strongest batting lineups as compared to other teams who will be part of the tournament. We have huge expectations from KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, and KL Yadav. Apart from them, Surya Kumar Yadav is someone to look up to.
With plenty of names who have the potential of defeating the competitors single-handedly, this Indian team has the ideal batting line-up.
Quality pace attack
One of the major reasons why India is expected to win this year is because of its bowling lineup. We have Jasprit Bumrah along with Harshal Patel back in the team and best of form. The duo is all set to rock and take plenty of wickets. Their presence will help India to give extended spells to Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Besides this, how can we forget the very talented Arshdeep Singh who is in great form and is performing exceptionally well these days?
Presence of all-rounders
India’s highly-efficient all-rounders in the form of Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, and Deepak Hooda give India the edge in the T20 World Cup. The presence of so many all-rounders in the squad, adds to the depth and balance of the squad and they can chip in with the bat as well as with the ball.
Return of Senior Players
Senior players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul are back to their form. The trio was earlier not performing that well but they are now back to scoring ways. They may also turn into Man of the Series, the reason for us to win the cup and this will be a massive boost for us.

Solid finishers
Do you think we are done? Not yet guys. We think you have forgotten our finishers. India has one of the best match finishers that can help the team hit more while increasing the stakes to win the match.
India also has the luxury of top-quality finishers who can help the team end the innings on a high in almost every match. The likes of Dinesh Karthik, Hardik, and Akshar Patel of late have been in staggering form and have provided finishes to the Indian team in almost every match. If top-order fires then they can complement them well and help India win the title as well. Also in the worst case, if the top batters fail they can build the innings as well.

An ideal blend of youth & experience
Our Men in Blue have performed consistently well in the last few months and all the credit goes to our coach Rahul Dravid. It’s a mix of players ranging from Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma the experienced ones. Then comes new players like Arshdeep Singh who are taking wickets and making us proud in every match.
All the Best Team India.
