Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, and Agastya Nanda’s debut film ‘Archies’ first poster and teaser launched on 14th May (Saturday), and the movie started shooting on April 18th.
The Netflix film is directed by Zoya Akhtar, it is based on the Archie comics that follow the story of Archie Andrews and his friends. It will be a live-action musical set in 1960’s India. The teaser is used as means to introduce all the actors that will be starring in the film.
The film is financed by Tiger Baby and Graphic India, it is an exclusive Netflix film as the trend of OTT platforms has increased largely in the last two years making it more accessible to the audience.

The official teaser was shared on Netflix India’s Twitter account, also the poster for the film too was well appreciated by the audience. The caption read,” Grab your picnic baskets and pick out your cutest outfits. We’re going to greet Archie’s gang! Presenting the cast of THE ARCHIES, a Zoya Akhtar film.

Apart from the well know Bollywood kids, the film will also feature Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Mrnda in the lead roles. The teaser shows the cast members having a fun picnic day in the woods.
The beginning process of the film
Zoya Akhtar introduced her fans with her new venture ‘The Archies’ last year, it created turmoil in the audience who have read the comics or seen the western version of it. The fans and all of Bollywood had their eyes on the star kids Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda for a while to see which project they will choose to debut with and they certainly got their answer in Zoya Akhtar’s announcement.
It is revealed that Agastya Nanda will be seen playing the character of Archie, Suhana Khan will be playing the role of Veronica, and Khushi Kapoor will be Betty.

Bollywood’s reaction
Since the teaser is out the fans have been wishing for the film to come sooner than expected and so do the stars of Bollywood who expressed their love and excitement to see their fellow actors making the whole of Bollywood proud.
Khushi Kapoor’s sister Janhvi Kapoor took over Instagram to show how proud she is of her little sister’s debut in Bollywood. She posted the film’s poster with the caption that said,” “CAN YOU KEEP CALM?!?!?!! I CAN’T????? CAN YOU BREATHE!!!! BECAUSE I CAN’T!!!!! If this isn’t THE MOST EXCITING THING Idk what is!!!!!??????!!!! We all love a big supporting sister, other than Janhvi Kapoor other Bollywood actors and actresses came together and shared the poster on their respective social media handles. Anshula Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, and even Amitabh Bachchan shared the poster feeling proud of his grandson’s achievement, and many more shared the good news.
