In Patna the protest against the Agnipath scheme moved towards Raj Bhawan.
On Wednesday RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav and his supporters led a protest and march towards Raj Bhawan from Vidhan Sabha.
The protest was over the Agnipath scheme which was introduced on June14 2022 by the government of India, in this scheme youth between the age of 18 years to 21 years will be sent to armed forces only for four years and with the provision to continue them for 15 more years.
They demanded the government to take back the scheme and also, they raised slogan. A video has been released by the ANI agency where the protest by Tejaswi Yadav and his members can be seen clearly.
Tejaswi Yadav also has said across the country the youth are really angry with this scheme. Almost 76% of the soldiers will be unemployed after four years. He also included those questions which he and his party have asked are not being answered till now.
He asked what they would do if there will be unsurety present for their own future. They also demanded the release of those youths who were involved in the Agnipath scheme protest and for which FIR was registered.
The scheme developed a huge anger in youths and thousands of protestors were arrested and the huge violence also played a violent role in building the protest huge and took a dangerous turn in different states.
Last Sunday the top military officials of all the three main branches I.e., Army, Navy and Air force, that the scheme will be moving forward and there will be no rolled back and whatever decision that has been taken in this scheme will remain same.
Union ministries has also announced a reservation for Agniveers and some BJP ruling states has promised of giving jobs in police forces and other departments.
