North Korea has launched a ballistic missile compelling tension between the two nations. South Koreaโs military mentioned the further increasing acrimonies initiated by the Northโs current barrage of weapons tests.

On 13 October 2022 North Korea fired missiles towards its eastern waters and flew warplanes near the border with South Korea. This situation has triggered tension between the nations. South Korea has also flown Fighter Jets when a bunch of about 10 North Korean military aircraft flew close to the border diving the two nations. North Korea has fired around 170 artillery shots off its east and west coasts mentioned by the Joint Chiefs of Staff ( JCS ).
North Korea has been condemned by South Korea’s National Security Council for creating tension, mentioning its moves as a violation of the 2018 Bilateral military pact which bans โhostile actsโ in the border area.
The first unilateral has been authorized against Pyongyang in nearly 5 years, blacklisting 15 Korean individuals and 16 institutes involved in missile development imposed by Seoul.

The military of North Korea issued a verdict on state media KCNA early Friday mentioning that it took, โstrong military countermeasures,โ on South Koreaโs artillery fire on Thursday.
The NSC of South Korea said that the firing was a โregular, legitimateโ exercise.
The incident got highlighted when KCNA mentioned leader Kim Jong Un supervised the takeoff of the long-range strategic cruise missiles on Wednesday to ensure the dependability of nuclear-capable weapons deployed to military units.
The remarkable frequency of North Koreaโs missile takeoffs has increased the tensions that may be preparing to continue testing nuclear bombs for the first time since 2017. The foreign ministry spokesperson of China Mr Mao Ning expresses that all the parties should abstain from escalating the tension and continue the meaningful dialogue for a political solution.
