The sci/fi and horror TV series Stranger Things had amazed an enormous audience around the globe and recently its Season 4 had been released.
Interestingly, the part of the story had been inspired by the classic anime, and it’s the perfect show to watched while watching Stranger Things.

In the latest interview with the Daily Beast, Stanger Things Creators Matt and the Ross Duffer had talked about what had influenced the popular series.
The Matt Duffer had said that he “had seen an anime named Elfen Lied” and had noted that it was inspired by great classic anime series Akira.
He further added “there were a lot of the things in there that had really liked and that made their way into the show, particularly related to the character of the Eleven”.
About the Anime: Elfen Lied:
The anime Elfen Lied has been written by the Lynn Okamoto, which started out as the manga in the Weekly Young Jump in the year 2002.
In year 2004, it had turned into the anime with help of Mamoru Kanbe as being the director of the series and Arms responsible for Animation for the anime.
Elfen Lied tells the story of the lucy a girl is a Diclonius is a new species that are been not human despite looking like them at the first glance.
However, they had also horn-like things on their heads, and they are ability to control the Vectors.
Vectors are being basically telekinetic invisible arms that allows the Diclonius to manipulate things in the ways a human cannot.

The idea of the young people trying for the balance everyday problems and the existential threat is the prevalent, with the Kouta and the Yuka having to the be navigate life and the romance while the also dodging the government agents.

While the Elfen Lied and the Stranger Things featured the similar themes, the anime is the darker, more violent, and the more willing to be extremely cruel to be its characters.
