Speaking of Chandkhuri, it will now be known as Mata Kaushalya Dham Chandkhuri because it is thought to be the birthplace of Lord Ram’s mother, Kaushalya.
The official continued, “The temple of Mata Kaushalya, situated in the middle of a pond in Chandkhuri, has already been renovated and beautified by the Congress government through its ambitious “Ram Van Gaman Path” tourism circuit project.”
According to myth, Lord Ram travelled along the Ram Van Gaman Path on his way to his 14-year exile, and it is also thought that he spent the majority of that time in Chhattisgarh.
