Rumors about the pair getting engaged started to go around after the Dreams of a Life actress was spotted with a hard to miss, stunning diamond ring on the red carpet of the 2022 British Academy Television Awards on Sunday, March 13.
While, Ashton looked mesmerizing in her pink gown, Hiddleston looked dashing in his black suit.
Hailing from the London Borough of Hackney, London. Zawedde “Zawe” Ashton is an English actress widely known for her works in the Netflix horror thriller Velvet Buzzsaw and the comedy dramas Not Safe for work and Fresh Meat.
Ashton will the making her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, alongside actor Brie Larson, as a villain in the upcoming marvel movie, The Marvels.
Born in 1981, Tom William Hiddleston is an English actor best known for portraying the role of “Loki” in the Marvel Cinematic Universe appearing in the first three installments of Thor and the first as well as the last two installments of the Avengers.
His role, which even though started off as a villain end ended as a fallen hero, was much loved by the audience throughout.
The couple first met in 2019 when they worked together in London in the West End production of Betrayal, playing the role of a husband and wife.
Over the years, Tom has made the headlines not only for his works as an actor but also because of his notorious dating like. From singers to actors, Hiddleston has a long list of famous celebrity exes, like Taylor Swift, Elizabeth Olsen, Jessica Chastain etc.
However, the actor seems to have finally found the one, Zawe Ashton and decided to put a ring on it.
Wanting to keep his dating life away from the public scrutiny, Tom once deflected a question from the media saying, “everyone is entitled to a private”.
Though the actors like to maintain a low profile when it comes to their personal life, they were seen showing off PDA while vacationing in Spain in September 2021. Later the month, they made their first appearance together as a couple on the red carpets of the Tony Awards.
