Motorola has announced the newest addition in their smartphone G series the Moto G 84 5G, in India, which will be launched on September 1st, 2024 on Flipkart.
This announcement has come after the introduction of their premium smartphone series called the Moto Razr series. The smartphones were inclined more on its flip function.
The Moto G 84 5G will offer up to 256 GB of internal storage and 12 GB of RAM. The smartphone will be available in three distinctive colours namely Midnight Blue, Viva Magenta and Marshmello Blue.
The price of the G 84 is said to be around Rs.20,000 mark since the G series is the budget oriented series of the Motorola phones.
Camera System
The rear panel of the Motorola phone includes a dual camera system, and the front side includes a selfie camera with the hole punch cutout style. This dual camera setup comes up with a 50 megapixel primary camera, and an eight megapixel secondary sensor, which implies that Motorola is not focusing on the depth effect feature of the camera this time.
Meanwhile, its Chinese counterparts have always added the depth effect. The ultrawide camera in the Moto G 84 will be doubled as the macro vision camera.
pOLED Display
It will have 120 Hz. with a 6.5 inch pOLED display which is similar to the AMOLED display, offering deep black contrasts but there are a few tweaks under its underlying components.
This is the same type of display that was used in the premium series of the Motorola Razr. This display will offer 1300 nits of brightness that will give you an immersive and which contrast in colors, adding onto it, it supports HDR 10, which will maximize your Netflix and prime video video streaming qualities or movies to watch on the device in general.
G 84 Keeps the Originality Intact
Just like the previous Motorola phones, their newest addition will also support “Dolby Atmos” but it will also support the Moto Spatial sound which is similar in principle to “Apple’s spatial sound”.
The G 84 comes up with a massive 5000 mA hour battery and a 30 W turbo power charging technology. Unlike its premium counterparts, Motorola will provide the charger in the box itself.
Like with every Motorola phone, the company has boasted about its clean android operating system experience which is true as its competitions like “Redmi” and especially in “Realme” are filled with ads and pre-downloaded apps that cannot be uninstalled.
The Reliable Android Experience
Motorola phones have made a significant comeback in the last decade and their major standard quality has been their clean android OS experience because when we talk about budget phones that are under or around the Rs.20,000 mark, we have to turn towards real Mi and Redmi which provide better features. Then Samsung’s budget oriented phones.
This led to users buying a real me and the “Redmi” phones and getting the ad-experience and the pre-downloaded apps which they were unable to remove from the device itself.
Motorola has assured that the G 84 will come with three years of security updates and Android 14+ update as well.
Since the G series are generally around Rs.20,000 mark, their newest addition, will compete with Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 12 series and Realme 11 Pro series.
It is also rumored that Motorola me lawns and affordable 5G, smartphone to compete against the newly launched real Mi 11 X and Redmi 12 5G along with Samsung M 14. All of these phones are priced around Rs.15,000 mark.
