Top Gun ‘Mavericks’ Tom Cruise’s biggest hits marked an exceptional performance after 21 days of its release crossing the $800m global box office.
The action sequel crossed Tom Cruise’s previous record-holder movies: Mission Impossible – Fallout at $791.1m, Top Gun records at $806.4m worldwide,$383.2m internationally, and $422.2m in North America.
Maverick has become the top-ranked film in 23 markets including the UK, Australia, and Brazil, and in Paramount’s top live-action film in 15, among them the UK, Australia, France, and Brazil.
It also ranked 2nd as the highest-grossing release ever in the history of Tom Cruise releases.
The film will soon take a wing to South Korea and what the audience say is it has a long way to go and could cross $1bn all over the world.

The director and producer are Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer respectively.
Jim Cash and Jack Epps Jr. were the screenplay writer. The film was inspired by an article titled “Top Guns”, which is written by Ehud Yonay and published in California magazine three years earlier.
