Prepare to ‘Celebrate’ with TWICE as they get ready to release their fourth Japanese album on 27th July 2022.
To commemorate TWICE’s fifth Japan Anniversary day they are gifting their fans with a new Japanese album. The album includes nine songs: ‘Celebrate,’ the title track, which is co-written by all of the TWICE members, ‘Voices of Delight,’ ‘TICK TOCK,’ co-written by Dahyun, ‘Flow like waves,’ ‘That’s all I’m saying,’ co-written by Dahyun, ‘Bittersweet,’ ‘Sandcastle,’ ‘Just be yourself,’ and their pre-release single ‘Doughnut.’
Apart from this, the group had released a ‘4th best album,’ a compilation of their best Japanese songs on 16th March 2022. And on 5th May 2022, they released a ‘TWICE Japan debut 5th Anniversary DVD.
As part of the celebrations and in anticipation of the release of their fourth Japanese album, ‘Celebrate’, TWICE has teamed up with SHIBUYA109 for the “SHIBUYA109 TWICE SUMMER SALE.” The pop-up will run from July 1 to July 31, 2022, with a physical store in Tokyo as well as through JYP and TWICE’s official web stores.
The album ‘Celebrate’ is TWICE’s first Japanese release in seven months, following the December 15, 2021 release of the Japanese Christmas single ‘Doughnut’. Their third Japanese album, ‘Perfect World,’ was released on July 28, 2021. TWICE achieved gold certification with a single ‘Doughnut.’ It is TWICE’s 9th Japanese single and has sold over 100,000 volumes in less than a month.
‘Doughnut’ is TWICE’s 15th album to be certified by The Recording Industry Association of Japan. TWICE became the K-Pop girl group with the most certified albums in Japan as a result of this outstanding achievement.
Meanwhile, as part of their fourth global tour, TWICE performed two concerts in the Tokyo Dome from April 23 to 25, 2022. On May 14th, the group extended the show and performed an encore concert at the Banc of California stadium, which has a capacity of 22,000 people.
Till now the group has released a tracklist, an adorable first teaser, and a snippet of two songs ‘Voice of Delight’ and ‘Tick Tock’ The album is set to be released on 27th July 2022.
