UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson arrived in India on Thursday, beginning his two-day trip from Gujarat, the hometown of Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. The British PM seems to be enjoying his long-delayed trip to India. The pictures posted on his official Twitter account went viral and sparked hilarious tweets about Boris Johnson.Â
The Prime Minister began his trip by visiting Mahatma Gandhi’s Sabarmati Ashram. He posted pictures of him spinning the wheel in the ashram and wrote a small note about his experience. Very soon, the images outsized the attention of people on Twitter, circulating hilarious tweets about Boris Johnson.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patil accompanied the UK Prime Minister to the JCB factory. Johnson was seen jumping on a JCB bulldozer and posing for photos and videos.Â
As soon as the Twitteratis saw these pictures, they started re-sharing them with hilarious comments on his ride on a JCB Bulldozer. The social media platform was flooded with amusing memes trying to make the most out of Johnson’s visit to India. The British leader sure made enough content for Indians to churn out memes. Â
On his last day of visit to India, the UK Prime Minister met his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi. Both held in-depth talks about future projects and economic ties between the two countries and aimed at fostering security between the two countries as the world is going through static terror threats. They touched upon Ukraine’s current situation, and leaders also spoke about India’s stand on the Russia-Ukraine War. Â
Heeding to India’s requirements for new defense technology, the British leader stated that they would support India’s need to deepen defense cooperation, including technology, manufacture, design, and development. The British Prime Minister also talked about strengthening the ties between the citizens of both countries. The British leader also shared a picture with PM Narendra Modi calling him his friend. Â
