Polls have been completed in Uttarakhand. Now, BJP Leaders are busy campaigning in Uttar Pradesh. Congress held a Nimbu-Mirchi party to unite the members.
After Uttarakhand Elections were completed in one phase on 14 February, Uttarakhand BJP Leaders were set to campaign in Uttar Pradesh. They will be asking the population of Uttar Pradesh to vote in favor of the Bhartiya Janata Party led by Ajay Kumar. A group of 70 leaders is ready to leave for Uttar Pradesh on 21 February 2022.
Uttarakhand’s BJP media in-charge Shri. Manveer Singh Chauhan informed about this. He told the press that all prominent Bhartiya Janata Party Leaders would campaign in all significant parts of Uttar Pradesh.
These leaders include general secretory Kuldeep Kumar, State Vice President Khilendra Chaudhary, Cabinet Minister, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, MLA Mahendra Bhatt, MLA Khajan Das, MLA Aadesh Chauhan, MLA Mukesh Kohli, and MLA Mahesh Jeena.
Former MLA Ram Singh Kaira and former MLA Rajesh Jethanwa will join them in this campaign. Other campaigners include BJP’s office bearers, former office-bearers, and Members of the Legislative Assembly.
Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and BJP’s state chief Madan Kaushik will be joining the campaign soon. They are BJP’s star campaigners in UP. Their programs are under preparation. Soon, other senior leaders are expected to join the campaign in Uttar Pradesh.
On 17 February, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami went to Delhi from Rudrapur to meet senior leaders of BJP.
The next day, he attended the wedding of Union Minister Bhoopendra Yadav’s daughter. He was expected to give feedback regarding the 5th Vidhan Sabha Elections in the state, but this could not happen because most of the senior leaders were busy in the election campaign. On Sunday, he returned to Dehradun.
On the same day, Dhami met with former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat at his home near Defence Colony, Dehradun.
There they discussed recent elections. Bharatiya Janata Party will form the Government this year as well with a large number of seats. On Monday, CM Dhami also clarified that there was no internal clash at the party. He requested all BJP members to talk to the party forum if they had any problems or something to say.
On Sunday, the Congress party organized a get-together party for congress candidates at the Congress office near Rajpur road and asked them to be united. But unfortunately, most of the leaders were not present.
Opposition leader Pritam Singh came to the party and cleared that there was no division in the Congress. He said that the Congress party would support the poor in the state. Congress state president Ganesh Godiyal was also present there.
Other than candidates who got a ticket this year, senior leaders and members were also present at the party. They were Dinesh Agarwal, Jot Singh Bisht, Rajkumar, Manoj Rawat, Satpal Brahmachari, and Aayendra Sharma. There was a race of clicking selfies with former Chief Minister Harish Rawat.
At the party, Harish Rawat discussed his vision for Uttarakhand. He said that all products of Uttarakhand like Nimbu, Malta, Galgal, Gahat, and Mandua have always been on his core
agenda. When he was part of the Government, he always focused on scripture, dress code, jewelry, and local food.
Harish Rawat criticized BJP and Narendra Modi for his Uttarakhand cap. He said that Congress had organized the party to celebrate Congress members for their efforts to spread the vision of Congress all around the state. He said that Congress had given lots of importance to Uttarakhand’s culture in their manifesto.
