About Bawaal
Bawaal is an upcoming Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by Nitesh Tiwari and written by Piyush Gupta, Shreyas Jain, Nikhil Mehrotra, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, and Nitesh Tiwari.
Starring Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Arnob Khan Akib, and Music by Devi Sri Prasad.
Bawaal revolves around a simple plot where a small-town man falls in love with the most beautiful girl in town, he wishes to marry her as marrying her can raise his social status.
Bawaal is set to be release on the big screens on 7th April 2024.
Varun Dhawan is set for his dance rehearsals
In August 2022 the last schedule of the film Bawaal was wrapped up by Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in Poland.
Varun Dhawan took to his Twitter account to post about the wrap-up of the film the post was captioned “Humne macha diya hai har jagah Bawaal wrapping up the film in Ajju Bhaiya style agla bawaal hoga theater mein April 7th, 2024 ko”. #SajidNadiadwala’s #Bawaal tagging director Nitesh Tiwari and the other crew of the film.
For time being Actors Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are busy with Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal, a source from ET Times revealed that Varun Dhawan is all set with his dancing shoes for the rehearsals for a couple’s song.
Director Nitesh Tiwari also attended the rehearsals which took place at Octopus Studio in Andheri, Mumbai, with the presence of the choreographers Bosco and Ceasar. Actress Janhvi Kapoor is also practicing her steps and she is expected to join along with Varun Dhawan in a span of a few days.
Janhvi spoke to the Press Trust of India (PTI) about her collaboration with director Nitesh Tiwari stating that “Nitesh sir has really spoiled me, working with Nitesh sir was such a dream come true as he has such clarity and has got the world’s wisdom to offer.”
She further added, “he is the noblest man I have ever met I was astonished by him as a director and personally as a person, and when such a director believes in me to cast me for his next and when I perform for him and he compliments the take is good his belief made me believe more in myself.”

Varun Dhawan successfully delivered his last hit Bhediya 3D (25th November 2022) which is still running successfully at the box office, Bhediya is a horror-comedy directed by Amar Kaushik and distributed by Pen India Limited, Geetha Arts Studio Green, and Jio Studios starring Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan, and Abhishek Banerjee, Bhediya received a positive response by the fans and Varun Dhawan was appraised for his unique role.
Varun Dhawan is all set to be seen in Ruso Brother’s series Citadel (Amazon Prime 2024) and the actor has already signed for the upcoming series, to be directed by Krishna D.K. and Raj Nidimoru it will be a multi-series. his upcoming films are Mr. Lele (shelved), Made in India (2024 to be finalized), 5 Min ka Superhero (2024 to be finalized).
Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in Mili (4th November 2022) which didn’t perform well at the box office and received a mixed response from the audience and critics. Janhvi is all set to reunite with her co-star Rajkumar Rao who appeared with her last in Roohi (11th March 2021), for a film titled Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, her other upcoming are Jana Gana Mana (Telegu 3rd August 2024 tentative), Takht (NA), Ranbhoomi (NA), Dostana 2 (NA), Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (NA).
Bawaal (7th April 2024) will be a treat for the audience as Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are being paired for the first time and Varun Dhawan is known for his past romantic comedy films.
