With the spectacular action-masala film “Veera Simha Reddy,” Tollywood superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna is back. The Gopichand Malineni-directed movie debuted in theatres Today.

The Telugu action movie “Veera Simha Reddy,” starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, has generated a lot of excitement online ahead of its release on January 12. Veera Simha Reddy, which is written and directed by Gopichand Malineni, is marketed as a mass-action-drama movie.
After the December release of Balakrishna’s commercially successful picture Akhanda, he is making a comeback to the big screen with this movie. The movie features some wonderfully shot action sequences that are a pleasure to see, as well as Balakrishna in a never-before-seen action persona.

Talking about the cast of the movie Nandamuri Balakrishna will be seen in a leading dual role as titular Veera Simha Reddy and his son Jai Simha Reddy. Other well-known actors who will appear in the film include Shruti Haasan who is playing the leading role of jai’s love interest Eesha. Honey rose as Veera Simha Reddy’s girlfriend and Jai’s mother and Varalaxmi Sarthkumar as Pratap Reddy’s wife: Bhanumati Pratap Reddy will be seen in supporting role.
Plot
In Istanbul, Turkey, Jai Simha Reddy, the devoted son of Meenakshi, owns a car dealership and a restaurant. He falls in love with Eesha, the daughter of business tycoon Jayaram, while living with his unmarried mother. The story takes a turn and Jai learns about his father Veera Simha Reddy, a faction leader in Pulicherla, Rayalaseema, as their wedding is about to take place.
Veera travels to Turkey at Meenakshi’s invitation to discuss Jai’s impending nuptials, but things quickly turn violent, leading to Veera’s murder. Jai then learns about Veera’s feud with Musali Madugu Pratap Reddy, his half-sister Bhanumati, Shekar, and Rajagopal, a business magnate, as well as how he came to be estranged from his family. After the murder of his father Veera Simha reddy, his son Jai returns to India’s Pulicherla in Rayalaseema to take revenge.

Many actors are tweeting about the movie, the leading actress of the movie Shruti Hasan took to her Instagram and posted a picture of her in black saree, she is also being praised on social media for her great performance. But for some viewers the movie is not the good, with some good responses movie is also receiving negative responses, many netizens said the plot follows the same, dated pattern of the hero engaging in dual action with a sisterly sentimental faction. Some says it is a good one-time watch movie if you are a fan of Nandamuri Balakrishna nothing else, the dialogues of the movie is also being trolled online.
The budget of the movie hasn’t been revealed yet, but it could reportedly be around 68 to 70 crores. The first day collection of the movie is estimated around 16 to 20 crores. The movie has to cover its budget in first 3 days only otherwise it won’t be covered.
