But the groom wasn’t far behind his beautiful bride. Vicky Kaushal looked stunning in a gold embroidered Sabyasachi ethnic suit with a matching turban.
The varmala ceremony of the couple at the magnificent property, Six Senses Fort Barwara, looks straight out of a movie set. The beat of the drums and waving of flags certainly alludes to the grandeur of Rajput royal weddings and is an excellent tribute to one of the most awaited unions of Bollywood.
In one of them, Katrina Kaif can be seen applying haldi on Vicky Kaushal’s cheek, while others are haldi-smeared photos of the couple.
At Haldi, Katrina wore an ivory Sabyasachi lehenga, which she paired with floral jewellery. The groom was too looking good in a white kurta-pyjama and pink dupatta. Sharing the pictures on their respective Instagram profiles, the newlyweds wrote in caption : “Shukr. Sabr. Khushi.”

The henna for the Mehendi was reportedly sourced from Sojat in Rajasthan and was chemical-free. The henna reportedly cost between ₹ 50,000 and ₹ 1 lakh, but, also reportedly, the business supplying the henna did not charge the couple.
Sabyasachi shared the details of Katrina Kaif’s lehenga. He wrote: “For the Mehendi ceremony, Katrina Kaif wears a multi-coloured Matka silk lehenga with a patchwork blouse and an organza dupatta inspired by Sabyasachi’s graduation collection Kashgaar Bazaar.” On the other hand, Vicky wore an “embroidered raw silk bandhgala jacket with coromandel chintz prints, a mint silk kurta with embroidered butis and a Bangalore silk ivory salwar.”
For their engagement ceremony. Katrina’s hairstylist Daniel Bauer posted the pictures of the star couple, and he wrote in his caption: “The Sagai.” The wedding venue was Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan.
Both bride and the groom can be seen twinning in pink outfits in the photos. “To love, honor and cherish,” Katrina Kaif captioned the post. Both of them wore ensembles by Sabyasachi, who was the official couturier for all their wedding festivities.
