The Vinland Saga had earned its place as one of the most violent anime franchises until now.
The story of a young viking in a universe not far from the events that helped to shape our world.
In his interview, the author of Thorfinn had taken the opportunity to hint that the finale of the series that first started in 2005 can be ended for their fans.
While interviewing with another prolific creator in Hajime Isayama, the mangaka responsible for Attack on Titan.
OVERVIEW:
The Manga is looking to see quite a few favourite anime series to be ended in the coming years.
Animes such as One Piece, My Hero Academia, and Black Clover being a few major examples of stories that are in their āFinal Arcsā.
The Yukimura himself hadn’t stated that the Thorfinn is in the final adventure of his aggressive journey of revenge, the artist is hinted that there aren’t many more avenues for the Viking to discover.
The second season of the anime series, which will be shifting from Wit Studio to MAPPA, will soon begin the following the aggressive finale of the first season, having placed Thorfinn into a very different scenario as new characters are introduced to the frightful world.
Obviously, it will take some time for the Television series to catch up with current source material, but everyone is expecting some big moments along the way.
In a recent interview with Attack on Titan the creator of Comic Natalie, Yukimura stated that while Thorfinn might not be in the currently in its final stage, the last story of the anime series is within our sight:
āAs there is a matter of fact, there had been not much of roadmaps left. We are not that far away from the final chapterā.
Abstract:
While there is anime adaptation covered the few major moments from Vinland Sagaās manga, the creator Yukimura was more than happy with the original content that was added to the series, he had confirmed during the interview for the official website of the property that:
āFirst, I was really happy to see a Vinland Saga that I didnāt know play out on screen.
I was particularly felt a sense of gratitude regarding the fifth and sixth episodes.
Thorfinn will be separated from his father Thors at a young age and ends up working for the Askeladd, but in the manga, I had skipped over what happened until Thorfinn got sixteen.
The anime had done a great job of showing the process of him growing up and filling in that gap, so I really appreciated itā.
Characters of Vinland Saga:
Sweyn Forkbeard:
Canuteās father is villainous even though of Viking standards.
He is the ruthless ruler who had conquered most of England.
Heās willing to sacrifice anything for his ambition, including his own son.
Theirs disgusts him with his sentiment and failure to understand his station.
Thatās the far cry from history.
Sweyn and Canute had actually worked together to invade England.
The former even left his own son in charge at several points.
Leif:
He is a prominent supporting player; this is a family friend who strives to help Thorfinn in his journey.
Heās a quirky old traveler who boasts of his voyage to Vinland.
Thatās definitely worth boasting about, as itās what heās known for.
Canute:
The anime was a rendition of Canute is an effeminate prince who grows into a confident leader.
He wanted to create a great kingdom in homage to God.
That is why he takes command of the Viking army, albeit through unscrupulous means.
