Prominent Indian Batsman Virat Kohli on Thursday accomplished another noteworthy milestone by exceeding Virendra Sehwag’s record to become India’s fifth cricketer with the highest number of runs in Test cricket.
Kohli surpassed Sehwag during their second Test Match against West Indies at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad, where he was 87 not out at the end of day 1.
While necessitating 32 runs to surpass Sehwag’s impeccable total of 8586 runs, Kohli left him behind and surpassed former Australian batsman Matthew Hayden’s record of 8625 runs in the same format.
