Messaging Social media app WhatsApp is going to launch new features in the year 2022.
Last year they introduce us to the Desktop Voice and Video calling feature and the disappearing or one-time see the feature. That was helpful for some people and not so much for others.
These Upcoming Features were announced earlier today by Mark Zuckerburg, Founder, and CEO of WhatsApp’s Patent Company Meta. These include the ability to hide to “online” status indicator, exit groups silently, the limit of “delete chats” up to 2 days, and also block screenshots of the “view once” message
AMAZING features that are now finally coming on WhatsApp:
- Choose whom to show you are online now: WhatsApp Users can choose who they want to share their ‘Online’ status indicator with. The Online status is convenient when users want friends and family members to know they’re active on the app. They can also be a nuisance when you want to use the app privately. You can now control who sees your last seen and online status.
- Now you can use the delete messages feature for two days: WhatsApp has increased the limit of deleting the chat message from “68 minutes to 2 days”. Announcing the new time limit via a post on Twitter, the company writes “Rethinking your message. Now you’ll have a little over 2 days to delete your messages from your chats after you hit send.”
- Leave Group Silently: To avoid the hassle and awkwardness. Now you can leave the group silently, just the admin will be notified of the group.
- Block “View Once” Messages for Screenshots: In WhatsApp, Users could take screenshots of the “View Once” feature before. In the Upcoming day’s security feature blocks to take screenshots in “View Once” Messages. One of the long-prevailing issues with the view once feature is that you don’t know if someone has taken a screenshot of your picture. With new updates, that problem is finally solved.
These are the feature that will be added to your Account by this year
