A brand new season of the show The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives has started streaming on Netflix. In one of the episodes, Karan Johar talked about a fun incident with his friend and Bollywood celebrity, actor Shah Rukh Khan.
Both Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan’s interior designer wife Gauri Khan made a guest appearance in the episode. Karan, While both of them were talking to Maheep Kapoor, revealed that Shah Rukh was once told by his charted accountant that he should learn something from his wife Gauri Khan.
Karan said, “The other day Shah Rukh made me laugh so much. He said, ‘Since we have gone into this pandemic, the only family member who is making money in this house is Gauri.’ His chartered accountant had called and said, ‘Why don’t you learn something from your wife? She is the only profitable member in the house.’”
The second season of the show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives brings back Sanjay Kapoor’s wife Maheep, Chunky Panday’s wife Bhavana, Sohail Khan’s ex-wife Seema Sajdeh and Samir Soni’s wife, actor Neelam Kothari. The show features many star cameos by Bollywood celebrities such as Arjun Kapoor, Badshah, Malaika Arora, Bobby Deol, and Jackie Shroff, among others.
Gauri Khan has designed many celebrity homes in the past, including the house of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh seemed to be referring to his wife’s successful interior designing business. Gauri Khan on this said, “He loves to say all these things. He likes to hype me a bit.” Karan continued to cheer for Gauri and said, “More power to you. That’s amazing.”
On the work front, Karan’s production Brahmastra is all set to release in theatres on September 9. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, his new film as director, will release in February 2024. Shah Rukh Khan’s new film Pathaan will release in January 2024, followed by Jawan, with director Atlee, and Dunki, with director Rajkumar Hirani.
The shoot of Pathaan is over and would be the first one to be released, on January 25, 2024. Jawan would hit cinemas on June 2 and Dunki on December 22 next year. As the shoots are at the finishing stages, Shah Rukh Khan has once found started reading scripts for his films which would be released in 2024.
