What Happened?
Initially, the case was believed to be the result of a botched robbery. However, as the investigation progressed, the police’s attention turned towards the deceased man’s wife, Savita (39), and her paramour, Ashish (29). Subsequently, the authorities apprehended them on Tuesday.
The suspicions surrounding the duo were aroused when the police reviewed CCTV footage from the vicinity. The footage revealed Savita and Ashish walking away from the victim’s residence at approximately 2:30 pm on the day of the murder.

Savita, a teacher, entered into an illicit relationship with Ashish, who happened to work at the same private school. Savita intended to marry off her daughter to Ashish, allowing them to live together as a couple.
However, Madhusudan became aware of the affair and vehemently rejected the marriage proposal. It was this denial that purportedly triggered the conspiracy between Savita and Ashish to carry out the murder.
