Decentraland has started Metaverse Fashion Week, a group of high-end designers and wearables vendors who sell non-fungible token (NFT) collections in the blockchain-based virtual world. - Selfridges, a British department store, displayed its NFTs during the opening ceremony. These NFTs included new creative works and digital reconstructions of the first 12 “unwearable” outfits by “young Rabanne” from 1966.
- An Italian fashion designer, Giuseppe Zanotti, has been selling a limited edition of 1,000 NFTs of his “Cobra” line of shoes. Users may purchase them to put on their virtual avatars in the metaverse.
- Dolce & Gabbana, an Italian luxury fashion house, will be releasing a series of NFTs that will give consumers a sneak peek at their coming summer collection.
- Lanvin and Chanel, two well-known French fashion businesses, are showcasing digital films.
- Grimes is a Canadian music sensation who will partner with Ouroboros on a musical performance feature.
- Hogan, an Italian fashion designer, will throw a virtual ‘after party’ known as ‘Hogan-X.’ International artists such as Republique and Monnier Paris will collaborate for a special shop of wearable garments at this ‘after-party.’ This ‘after party’ will also feature Hogan’s ‘Untraditional’ footwear. NFTs will present the collections of Coach, Ester Manas, Wandler, and Braw Haus.
- According to Coinmarketcap information of 3:01 p.m., Decentraland (MANA) was trading at $2.63, up 0.49 percent.
How to attend
- To register for the event, go to Decentraland’s website. You may either log in with your digital wallet or as a guest.
- The site will then show the event’s entire schedule, which visitors may use to follow coordinates and discover different spaces.
