Yoga is very beneficiary for everyone and it will be more beneficial if our children will learn yoga from the starting of their life and include it in their day-to-day habits. So, keeping that in mind I will also ask the Delhi education minister Manish Sisodia to launch yoga classes in Delhi schools as soon as possible,” he said.

“Everyone in Delhi should chase the goal of good health so Delhi can become a healthier city. Our aim is every person in every home should practice yoga Asanas in their daily life. Half and hour or one half of yoga can make the aim came true of healthier Delhi.” Arvind Kejriwal said.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “We offered free medical treatment to the Delhi public at the public hospitals and Mohalla Clinics. Now our aim is to make Delhiites fit in the first place by performing yoga asana daily at least once so they don’t fall sick easily and save themselves from medicines and hospitals.”
He added, “If anyone adopts yoga in their life they will become healthier and their chances of falling sick decreases. Under the programme Dilli ki Yogshala, the scheme has been opted by around 17,000 citizens of all ages at 546 parks and public spaces.
He added, “I learned yoga at an early age, I enrolled myself in yoga ashram during school summer vacations.”
Yoga’s effect on COVID
Furthermore, he added “last two years were very tough for all of us. Many people lost their loves ones. Delhi government always perform human interest experiments, in COVID also we started an experiment in which with the help of yoga teachers and the professors of DPSRU (Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University) we gave online classes to COVID patients to help them calm down in the difficult time. of course, Yoga didn’t cured the COVID but helped the patients to calm down and became mentally stable at their difficult time.”
“After the success of the experiment. After we asked the patients who attended yoga classes about the result, they said it was beneficial to the intensity of the virus and made them relax. So, we taught why shouldn’t we roll out this as a programme and allow everyone to join at the price Free of cost.” Kejriwal said.
“Some people question us why are you teaching people yoga for free? I answered, I learned yoga for free and I will teach yoga to everyone for free because it should be free. The thing which makes people’s life more easily and more relaxing should be free of cost. You want to criticize, they shall continue, He added.”
