Kuthuliya, the fruit research center of Rewa city, has many varieties of mango orchards of the country and the world. Here 237 varieties of mango will be found together. The center of most attraction is the Sundarja mango of Govindgarh. At the same time, Irvine and Sensation (Colorful) of Florida city of America is also a mango with foreign variety. Tommy Atkin and Swarnrekha mangoes are in high demand here. Research is done on mango and guava in Rewa’s Fruit Research Center Kuthuliya. The garden is a venture of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). It is administered under the Jawaharlal Nehru University Jabalpur. The fruit research center of Rewa Agricultural College, Kuthulia is spread over 32 hectares.
Almost all the variety of mango trees is claimed to be present in this center. There are varieties of mangoes named after Langra, Dussehri, Chausa, Sundarja, and Amrapali as well as many kings and emperors. Gulab Bhog is also included in the name of Maharaj Martand Singh of Rewa princely state, Gulab Singh. Varieties of mangoes are also present in this garden named after the British, out of which Lat Saheb, Campus, and Irwin are special.
2,345 Mango Trees in Bagan
Under the Fruit Research Project, 2345 mango trees have been planted. The Fruit Research Center has early-ripening mango to medium tree species. The fruits which give ripe fruits in the month of May are Bombay, Bombay Green, Indraha, and Dahar. On the other hand, Sundarja, Dussehra, and Langra of medium species will also be found on this plantation. There are also varieties of mangoes like Gadhuan, Amrapali, Mallika, Chausa, Bhaji, and Nileshan, which continue to ripen till the month of August. Also, Mahmud Bahar of Sabour, Prabhashankar, Sindhu of Goa, Ratna, and Neelam hybrids are common in the plantation.

Features of sugar-free mango
