Three members of girl group, CLC are debuting/starring in a South Korean short horror movie releasing in July.
Oh Seunghee, Chang Seungyeon and Jang Yeeun of CLC are having their acting debut in July. The three members are starring in the short webmovie series “Tastes of Horror” directed by Anh Sang Hoon. Their short film is called “Ding-Dong Challenge.” It is a partnership project between IP and KakaoPage.
The web series is a collaboration between a webtoon and a short film. The web film series has five distinct directors: Ahn Sang Hoon, Yoon Eun Kyung, Kim Yong Kyun, Chae Yeo Joon, and Lim Dae Woong. Each director works on two separate projects, completing ten online movies.
This story, “Ding-Dong Challenge,” is about three friends, Yeong-bi, Hye-yul and Bora. Yeong-bi enjoys dancing and aspires to be an idol singer. Hye-yul aspires to be a YouTube sensation. Bora is an honors student who has fallen in love for the first time.
These three students are members of their high school’s dance organization. They come across a challenge video one day that claims that mimicking a dance in the “Ding-Dong Challenge” app will make their wishes come true. With their wishes in mind, the three of them imitate the mission dance. As a result, one by one, the shadow of death falls upon them.
The show is going to be put up twice in South Korea. One on July 10th in Bucheon City Hall Eoulmadang from 3:30 pm-5:13 pm. Second on July 15th in Korea Manhwa Museum from 7:30 pm-9:13 pm. The trailers of the movie are yet to be released.
